Key Responsibilities:
develop working relationships with key original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
develop opportunities that could lead to OEMs supporting product positions and products
represent product interests at lubricant industry meetings
develop OEM profiles with a clear definition of objectives for each OEM
establish and maintain files and records of the worldwide product industry committee activities, including objectives at industry committee meetings
monitor and report on new developments and industry trends in the lubricants industry
analyse trends and provide guidance on modifying product segment strategies
meet with contacts on a regular basis and discuss lubricant industry issues, OEM issues and future lubricant trends
present the desire to work with OEMs and determine areas in which cooperation would be beneficial to both parties, proposing and directing joint test programs with OEMs
provide guidance to product management on changes that should be made to product segment strategies
provide periodic lubricant industry news reports to sales, product management, technical marketing, R&D and senior management
acquire industry and OEM specifications through contacts at OEMs and industry meetings
maintain copies of the most recent lubricant specifications for use by all personnel
Key Requirements:
bachelors degree, with a major in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
minimum eight years sales and marketing experience in the automotive, hydraulic or lubricants field
strong communication and presentation skills
proficient in written and spoken English
