Job Responsibilities:
• support operation manager in managing the Operation team to conduct daily operations according to Departmental Operating Instruction and deliver services to clients according to agreed service level
• to assist the Operations Manager to manage and supervise the Operation team to execute settlement, corporate actions, support activities and investment quota administration activities for the QFII clients
• work closely with external parties such as brokers and depositories to ensure clients settlement/corporate actions instructions are executed as per client’s instruction without failure
• work closely with sales and other internal divisions such as CMS, to execute client instructions and other operating requirements to ensure high quality service is delivered to clients
• support Client Service Team to review clients operating performances (e.g. the STP rate) and take proactive action to make improvements
• ensure clients’ transactions are correctly and timely send to Fund Service for regulatory reporting preparation
• support the business in compliance with the money laundering prevention as per the Group’s policy and local regulations
• report any suspicious activities to the respective Unit Money Laundering Prevention Officer and the line manager as well as Country Money Laundering Prevention Officer in accordance with Bank policies and procedures
Key Requirements:
• university degree, majoring in Business/Finance/Accounting
• relevant working experience in securities operations with banks, brokers or other financial institutions in China
• good understanding of local and international securities products and operations
• good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
